Zareen Khan's driver arrested after complaint by deceased's family
On Wednesday, it was reported that a scooter rammed into actress Zareen Khan's car in Anjuna, North Goa. While the victim succumbed to his injuries later, his family has blamed Zareen's driver Abbas Ali for the accident. Reportedly, Goa police have filed a case against Abbas and arrested him. Their enjoyment made me lose my brother: Victim's brother
The family of the 31-year-old deceased has been mourning the loss and accused Zareen's driver. Expressing his anger, the deceased's brother said, "Their enjoyment made me suffer the loss of my brother". He alleged that Zareen's driver took the turn without giving any indicator which led to the deadly collision killing the victim.
Zareen is shaken by the accident
Meanwhile, police have also recorded Zareen's statement in the case for further investigation. Talking about the incident, she told Bombay Times that she was shaken by what happened. "What happened is so unfortunate. I haven't stopped crying since it happened," she stated. However, Zareen also emphasized that the car was stationary when the accident took place.
Zareen escaped accident unhurt, but feels bad for deceased's family
Zareen further mentioned that while she managed to escape the accident unhurt, her heart goes out to deceased's family. "I feel really bad that someone lost his life and I can't imagine what his family must be going through. If you see the car, you will understand how bad the impact is," she added. Zareen also mentioned it is hard to forget the incident.
The biker was not wearing a helmet, claims Zareen
Zareen highlighted that the deceased was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. "He wasn't wearing a helmet and because of the speed at which he was riding, he rammed into the car and then, must have hit his head on the divider. The car literally shook. My car was full of blood, it was a horrifying sight," she added.
