Zareen Khan, who had once stunned millions with her drastic weight loss, created a buzz recently after she shared a picture showing her stretch marks. While she was trolled mercilessly for flaunting her imperfections, Anushka Sharma came out in her support. The PK actress shared a post in her Instagram story and wrote, "Zareen, you're beautiful, brave and strong just the way you are".
What happened to your stomach, asked the netizens
It all started after Zareen posted a picture of herself on Instagram enjoying the scenic beauty of Udaipur. In the picture, she was seen wearing a white crop-top paired with a black skirt. Though she looked stunning in the outfit, netizens couldn't help notice the stretch marks on her stomach. "What happened to your stomach... OMG did anyone noticed (sic)" asked an Instagram user.

Zareen believes in embracing her imperfections with pride
Now, Zareen isn't the one to mince her words, and she shut down the trolls in a perfect manner. The diva explained that she got those stretch marks after losing over 50kgs. "This is how it looks when it is not photoshopped or surgically corrected," Zareen added. She also asserted that she believes in embracing her "imperfections with pride rather than covering them up."
Anushka supports Zareen, says look beyond the body
Notably, Zareen's statement was appreciated by some Instagram users, and Anushka also lauded her for her fearless stand. She emphasized that it is important to "look beyond the body". Overwhelmed with Anushka's gesture, Zareen reshared the Pari actress' post and thanked her for the support.
Zareen is working on 'Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele'
On the work front, Zareen, who was last seen in 1921, is currently working on Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele, a Harish Vyas directorial. Also starring Anshuman Jha in lead, the movie is a story of two completely different individuals who meet at one point in life, and create a unique bond. The movie is expected to release by the year-end.
