Zaira Wasim has been all over the news post her sudden retirement from Bollywood. While her decision has left everyone divided, it's reported that she is making her way to TV. According to media reports, the Dangal actress has been approached for Bigg Boss 13, which will be hosted by Salman Khan. Reports also said that she's keen to participate in the reality show.
Shilpa Shinde repeat: Zaira seems interested in 'Bigg Boss 13'
As per an exclusive report by IB Times, Zaira is very much interested in participating in Bigg Boss 13. This is exactly what television actress Shilpa Shinde of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain did. Notably, she had quit acting post her well-known controversy with the makers of the show. She later went on to participate in BB11 and emerged as the winner.
A source highlighted how Zaira's path is similar to Shilpa's
"Remember Shilpa Shinde, who left acting after her show Bhabhiji... got into controversy, had entered Bigg Boss that she eventually won? Now similarly, Zaira has been approached for the show and she seemed to be interested to spend time in BB house," a source stated.
Showbiz threatened my relationship with my religion, wrote Zaira
For the uninitiated, Zaira created quite a buzz last week after she announced her exit from the showbiz industry. Explaining her reasons, she stated that her profession "threatened" her "relationship with her religion." "This field indeed brought a lot of love, but what it also did was to lead me to a path of ignorance as I unconsciously transitioned out of imaan," Zaira wrote.

Meanwhile, Zaira opts out of 'The Sky Is Pink' promotions
Meanwhile, Zaira will next be seen in Shonali Bose's directorial The Sky Is Pink, along with Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar. The team will soon begin the promotions, but it is reported that Zaira denied promoting the movie. "In keeping with her decision, she requested the makers to excuse her from promotional activities," a source stated. The movie will release on October 11, 2019.
