Explaining her reasons to quit Bollywood, she stated that she had a feeling of non-belonging in showbiz. "As I complete 5 years today, I want to confess that I am not truly happy with this identity, i.e, my line of work," Zaira wrote on social media.

Meanwhile, this decision of Zaira has left Bollywood divided, but the producers of The Sky Is Pink have supported the young actress' choice.
