Meet Salman Khan's new find: Zaheer Iqbal
Salman Khan kept us guessing as to who is the new actor that he is going to introduce in Bollywood; he shared a childhood picture of the would-be star on his social media account yesterday. Keeping his promise, the superstar today revealed that the youngster is Zaheer Iqbal and shared a couple of latest photos of him. He even named him 'Zahero'.

Soon after Salman made the announcement yesterday, netizens assumed Zaheer to be yet another star kid. However, Zaheer does not have any filmy background but his father is a childhood friend of Salman. Salman spotted an actor in Zaheer when he performed at his sister's wedding function. The 'Race 3' actor has been personally grooming him for the big screen for months now.

Salman will be launching Zaheer in an upcoming film under his banner Salman Khan Films. The yet-to-be-titled project is a love story based in Kashmir and will be directed by Nitin Kakkar of 'Filmistaan' fame. The makers are currently finalizing Zaheer's leading lady who will also be a fresh face.

Talking about the new actor, Kakkar said, "Zaheer's level of commitment towards his work is great. He will go a very long way." Co-producers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde already see a star in him. "Zaheer has an incredible presence in front of the camera. His greatest asset is his honesty towards the craft," they said.
