'Yudhra' struggles at box office, collects ₹9.89cr in 5 days
The Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal-starrer Yudhra is experiencing a decline in box office figures. The film, which premiered on September 20 to mixed reviews, is finding it difficult to maintain a strong presence at the box office. After opening with ₹4.5cr, the numbers have been steadily decreasing. On Tuesday (Day 5), it collected a mere ₹0.59cr, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹9.89cr nett in India, as per Sacnilk's early estimates.
'Yudhra' also stars Malavika Mohanan, Gajraj Rao
In addition to Chaturvedi and Juyal, Yudhra also features Malavika Mohanan, Gajraj Rao, Raj Arun, and Shilpa Shukla in significant roles. The film revolves around the character of Yudhra (Chaturvedi), who embarks on an undercover mission to dismantle a drug cartel led by Firoz and his son Shafiq. While on this mission, he also vows to avenge his parents' murder.
Juyal discussed his challenging role in 'Yudhra'
Juyal recently shared his experience of playing a villain in Yudhra. He described it as a unique and intense journey that pushed him beyond his comfort zone. "I engaged in behavior that was far from my usual self. This process was intense and, at times, unsettling," he said. He also mentioned feeling an overwhelming need to disconnect and heal after wrapping up the shoot due to the psychological impact of his role.
