'Yudhra' sees big drop; earns ₹1.50 crore on day 2
Siddhant Chaturvedi's action film Yudhra witnessed a drop in its box office collection on the second day of release. The movie, directed by Ravi Udyawar, managed to earn nearly ₹2 crore on Saturday, according to Sacnilk. It is pitted against Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam and Stree 2 and was released on Friday.
'Yudhra' earns ₹6 crore in 2 days
Yudhra raked in ₹4.50 crore on its opening day and added another ₹1.50 crore (approx) to its earnings on the second day, as per early estimates. The film's total domestic collection now stands at around ₹6 crore. The overall Hindi occupancy for Yudhra was recorded at a mere 11.40% on Saturday.
Breakdown of 'Yudhra's occupancy on Saturday
The morning shows of Yudhra on Saturday saw a 6.11% occupancy, while the afternoon shows sold 11.95% tickets. The evening shows recorded a 10.84% audience, and the night shows witnessed the highest occupancy with 16.70% tickets sold. Due to lack of buzz, the way ahead will likely be difficult for Yudhra.
'Yudhra': Chaturvedi's 1st solo lead film
Yudhra marks Chaturvedi's first solo lead release, where he portrays a man with anger issues who goes undercover to dismantle a powerful drug syndicate. The film also stars Malavika Mohanan as Nikhat and Raghav Juyal as the antagonist Shafiq. The cast includes Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, and Raj Arjun. Yudhra is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Sudha Anukta.
