Ye's 'Bully' album inspired by son Saint's (9) bully behavior
What's the story
Ye (formerly Kanye West) recently revealed that his upcoming album Bully is inspired by his nine-year-old son Saint's aggressive behavior.
Yes, you read that right!
In a recent episode of The Download, the 47-year-old controversial rapper shared an incident where Saint kicked another child because he was "weak." This revelation led to discussions about Saint's behavior and its potential influences.
Here's what went down.
Album inspiration
'This man is really a bully right here'
Ye recounted the incident to his friend Justin LaBoy, saying, "My son was playing with some kid and then he kicked him."
"I asked my son, I said, 'Why did you do that?' And Saint responded with a simple, "Cause he weak,'" Ye added.
This prompted the rapper to say, "This man is really a bully right here," giving him the inspiration for his upcoming album.
Ye asked LaBoy, "Don't Saint do that? He just kick everybody...Definitely young Ye."
Past behavior
Saint's previous incidents and family dynamics
Saint, the son of Ye and Kim Kardashian, has a history of making headlines with his behavior.
In September 2023, Kardashian scolded him for flipping off paparazzi. However, he repeated the gesture a month later while hanging out with friends at a restaurant.
Kardashian and Ye were married from 2014 to 2022 and share four children: North (11), Chicago (7), Saint (9), and Psalm (5).
Family struggles
Kardashian's parenting challenges and Ye's new life
In November, Kardashian alleged she was raising her four kids "alone" as Ye leads a nomadic life with his wife, Bianca Censori.
She opened up about her struggles on Zoe Winkler's iHeartRadio podcast, saying, "It's not something I talk about a lot because I feel like there is always a lot of judgment."
Meanwhile, Ye and Censori recently made a controversial red-carpet appearance at the Grammys 2025.
