Yash's 'Toxic' being shot in both English, Kannada: Report

After the monumental success of KGF and KGF 2, actor Yash is teaming up with National Award-winning director Geethu Mohandas for a gangster drama titled Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.
The film was officially announced on Yash's birthday, igniting global interest.
Now, per a report by Pinkvilla, Toxic is being planned as a global film keeping the Indian and International audiences in mind.

'Toxic' to be shot in English and Kannada
Toxic is being written and shot in English and Kannada, and will be dubbed in other Indian and international languages.
Speaking about the same, a source close to the development revealed to the portal, "The idea is to make a Pan World Film, as the subject has a global appeal."
"The makers had this goal in their mind from the start, and the entire cast and crew was selected keeping the factor of global reach intact."
Production costs
'Toxic' among most expensive films in Indian cinema
Reportedly, the decision to shoot Toxic in two languages has increased the production costs by 40%.
However, the producers are still committed to their vision of representing India on a global platform.
The source added, "It's one of the most expensive films of Indian Cinema, and the big screen experience will be worth every penny spent."
The film is produced by Venkat K Naryana of KVN Productions and Yash under Monster Mind Creations.
Global ambition
'Toxic' aims for global breakthrough with international talent
The producers of Toxic are hoping to make the film the first Indian movie to break-through on a global level and boasts action sequences designed by JJ Perry (John Wick, Iron Man).
The makers are gearing up for a grand release later this year and are said to be close to partnering with a global studio giant for its international release.
The film reportedly co-stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria.
