
Yash-Kiara's 'Toxic' to release in March 2026
What's the story
The much-anticipated action thriller, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, starring Kannada cinema star Yash, will hit the screens on March 19, 2026.
It was earlier scheduled to release on April 10, 2025.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is currently in production and being shot in Kannada and English.
On Saturday, the makers revealed the new release date and shared a gripping new poster.

Film synopsis
'Toxic' plot and cast details revealed
Set against a drug cartel in Goa, Toxic explores power and morality.
While Yash plays the protagonist, Kiara Advani is his love interest and Nayanthara his sister.
Huma Qureshi will be seen as the antagonist and Akshay Oberoi makes his Kannada cinema debut with this film.
KVN Productions and Yash's own Monster Mind Creations are producing the film.
Language strategy
'Toxic' to be dubbed in multiple languages for wider reach
Toxic will be dubbed into several languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
The film is also noteworthy for becoming the first major Indian film conceptualized, written and shot simultaneously in both Kannada and English.
The action sequences are being choreographed by JJ Perry, who earlier worked on John Wick and Fast & Furious.
The visual effects are by DNEG, known for Brahmastra and Dune: Part Two, among others.
