The upcoming drama, The Birthday Party, starring four-time Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe, will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The film written by Jimenez along with Giorgos Karnavas and Nikos Panayotopoulos, is based on Panos Karnezis's novel.
Set in the late 1970s Mediterranean, Dafoe portrays Marcos Timoleon, a wealthy tycoon hosting a lavish birthday party for his only child and heiress, Sofia, on his private island.
