Will Smith is bowled over by money-spinner 'Gully Boy'
With a strong word of mouth, Gully Boy emerged as the highest opener of 2019. After an opening collection of Rs. 19.4 crore, the movie is expected to mint sky-rocketing collections in the coming days. While Ranveer has managed to impress almost everyone with his performance in this musical drama, he has probably received the best compliment from Hollywood veteran Will Smith.
Will, a rapper of international repute, loved Ranveer's hip-hop skills
Will shared an Instagram story wherein he couldn't stop gushing about Ranveer's rapping skills. "Ranveer, congrats man! I am loving what you're doing with Gully Boy. For me old school hip-hop here, seeing hip-hop all over the world like that I am loving it man," he said. Given that Will himself is a rapper of international repute, his appreciation would certainly make Ranveer proud.
After this appreciation, 'Ranveer ka time aa gaya'!!
When Will learned 'the ropes of Bollywood' from Ranveer
Interestingly, this isn't the first time Will was in awe of Ranveer. The Pursuit of Happyness actor, who met Ranveer during his October visit to India, called him as one of Bollywood's best actors. Later he shared a picture he clicked with Ranveer and Karan Johar on social media, and wrote, "Learning the ropes of Bollywood from two of the best in the game".

Will to make his Bollywood debut this year
For the uninitiated, Will will be making his Bollywood debut with KJo's Student Of The Year 2 this year. Reportedly, the Hollywood star will have a cameo in the movie and will be seen shaking a leg or two with lead actor Tiger Shroff.
'Gully Boy' expected to mint more money in upcoming days
Meanwhile, Ranveer is sweeping everyone off their feet with his performance as an underdog rapper in the movie. In fact, if Bollywood trade experts are to be believed, the movie will be raking in big moolah in the coming days and is likely to set new benchmarks. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy also stars Alia Bhatt, and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles.
