Wife Aaliya rubbishes 'spying allegations' against Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Nawazuddin Siddiqui came under the scanner after his name cropped up in a Call Detail Record (CDR) scam. The actor, who rubbished the accusations, has now found support in his wife, Aaliya Siddiqui. Refuting the allegations levelled against him as baseless, Aaliya said that Nawaz is a soft target. It was alleged that Nawaz had hired private detectives to retrieve his wife's call details.
Aaliya took to Facebook to support Nawaz
In an elborate post on Facebook, Aaliya wrote, "A lot has been said about Nawaz in media, be it about our divorce or our separation, but the reports that are doing the rounds lately have shocked both of us." "I just want to say that all the allegations against Nawaz are baseless. He is a soft target because he is a celebrity," she added.
The CDR racket was busted in January
It was on 24 January this year that the Police nabbed several private detectives who were involved in the illegal procurement and sale of CDRs of individuals including Nawaz's wife. The arrested accused informed the Police that Nawaz's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui had extracted Aaliya's call details from them. The cops then issued a summon to the actor, his wife and the lawyer.
