Why John Abraham refused to be part of 'Housefull 5'
What's the story
In an exclusive interview with Zoom, actor John Abraham revealed that he was approached for Housefull 5, a film starring Akshay Kumar. However, he turned down the offer.
Abraham's comic timing in Housefull 2 had raised the bar for the franchise.
The fifth installment of the series is nearing completion, and fans miss his popular jodi with Kumar.
Decision explained
Abraham expressed his reasons for declining 'Housefull 5'
Elaborating on his reason behind saying no to Housefull 5, Abraham said, "I was approached for Housefull 5 but I chose not to do it."
"I felt there was a better space for me reserved somewhere else. I would love to do a Garam Masala with Akshay (Kumar). Maybe something situational, dark comedy, or something exciting with him," he added.
