Sandeep, who has been quite reserved about his personal life, revealed that he was married to a woman he was not in love with. "Under my parent's pressure, I got married, only for their happiness. I got married to a girl who I was not in love with. Soon I realized we both were different. Different culture and different society," the actor told Bollywoodlife.

Sandeep faced compatibility issues with wife
Sandeep also mentioned that there were compatibility issues between them. He tried to make things right but failed. "She is from a small town, while I'm in Mumbai. I tried making things better. And I gave seven years of my life to my marriage. I tried hard to work on it, but it didn't work out and things fell apart," he added.

Notably, Sandeep has filed for a divorce in the court. However, it isn't a mutual decision. Reportedly, Sandeep's wife is willing to give their marriage a second chance. "It's my decision! I thought I've a life and I could do more since I'm ambitious. And I'm very happy with my decision. If I'm not happy then why should I not move on?" he asked.

Notably, Sandeep doesn't live with his wife and son. "Yes, we have filed for divorce. It's been almost a year since we got separated. I've moved on in my life, and even she has moved on," he claimed.
