'Hera Pheri 3' has been postponed indefinitely: Here's why
This February, it was reported that Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal would once again return with their laughter ride, Hera Pheri 3. Director Indra Kumar was to helm the project and the film was to hit the floors by the end of this year. But the wait just got a lot longer, as Hera Pheri 3 has been postponed indefinitely now.
'Hera Pheri 3' hits roadblock, dates of cast not matching
The reason behind the delay of Hera Pheri 3 was because dates of the cast weren't matching. "Indra was set to take the movie on floors by year-end. But it has hit another roadblock as the dates are apparently not working out," a source stated.
'Heri Pheri 3 is currently being scripted,' informs Indra
Earlier this year, Indra had confirmed making Hera Pheri 3, and had also mentioned that the movie would be high on VFX. "We start the film towards the end of this year. It's currently being scripted. I was completely cut off from that project for the last three months because I was busy with Total Dhamaal," Indra was quoted as saying in an interview.
Indra is currently working on an action drama with Ajay
Reportedly, since Hera Pheri 3 has been postponed indefinitely, Indra has begun working on an action-drama with Ajay Devgn. "He has discussed the concept of an action-drama fare with Ajay," the source stated. Media reports further stated that Ajay has heard the script, and agreed to the initial negotiations. Besides, the actor-director duo is also said to be in talks for Dhamaal 4.
Meanwhile, Ajay is getting ready for 'Taanaji', 'RRR'
Ajay is currently working on Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kajol. Besides, the superstar has also been roped in for SS Rajamouli's RRR. Given his hectic schedule, Ajay is likely to begin Indra's action-drama by early 2020.
