Together, they kept the neighborhood crime free, often defending against dangerous villains like Diamondback and Black Cat.
A bunch of misfits with good intentions
After an intergalactic war, Peter Quill brings together a ragtag group of cosmic misfits including Drax, Groot, Gamora and Rocket Raccoon. It was initially started in 1969 and since then, the group has more than lived up to its name as the Guardians of the Galaxy. This group has tackled several notable villains including Thanos, Annihilus while keeping aggressive alien races in check.

Mutants have been treated as outcasts in society due to their powers. They found a home with Professor Charles Xavier. He formed the X-Men fighting for mutant equality and to improve relations between humans and mutants. They started in the 1960s as Reed Richards along with Sue and Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm, were exposed to mysterious radiation on a space mission and gained powers to become Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and Thing respectively. They have battled evil like Galactus since then.
