What's the story

Role preparation
Kaushal's physical transformation for 'Chhaava'
In a chat with Radio Nasha, Kaushal revealed that his role in Chhaava was the most physically demanding of his career.
He gained 25kg of muscle in seven months, a process he called extremely challenging.
Director Laxman Utekar insisted that filming wouldn't start until Kaushal had fully transformed for the role.
This transformation included not just building the required physique but also horse riding, sword fighting, and combat training.

Kaushal emphasized the scale of Chhaava's making, revealing that scenes with 2,000 people were shot with real people on set.
The film used 2,000 junior artists and 500 of India's finest stunt performers.
In Chhaava, Kaushal plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj while Mandanna essays his wife, Maharani Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna features as Aurangzeb. Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta also play pivotal roles.
