The movie, based on a true incident from 2017, revolves around how former Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj helped an Indian woman stranded in Pakistan with the assistance of a diplomat.
After its theatrical run, The Diplomat will be available on Netflix.
Going by the standard release window, it would arrive on the OTT platform around 90 days after its theatrical release.
