Jr NTR-Prashanth Neel's movie to start filming in December
The much-anticipated upcoming film starring Jr NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, is set to begin shooting in December 2024. The news was confirmed by producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers during the teaser launch of Mathu Vadalara 2. Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the project since its announcement. The film's shooting will reportedly take place across 15 countries.
Jr NTR to join the shoot after finishing 'War 2'
According to reports, director Neel is currently finalizing the script. The initial shooting schedule will not include the RRR actor as he is busy with War 2. He will join the project later. Per reports, Rashmika Mandanna will essay the female lead in the movie. Moreover, earlier, it was reported that Neel's upcoming film might be titled Dragon. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
'NTR-NEEL' launched with grand ceremony in Hyderabad
The film was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad in May, attended by Jr NTR, Neel, and their respective families. The makers had initially announced the film as NTR 31 but later confirmed it as NTR-NEEL. The project is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. It is slated for release on January 9, 2026. Neel is also committed to filming Salaar 2 with Prabhas in the lead role.
