Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor's wedding rumors have been doing the rounds for a while now. There have been reports that the love birds, who have thrown caution to the wind, will soon be tying the knot in a church wedding. While we are still waiting for an official confirmation, a recent report stated that they will get married on April 19, 2019.

And, now according to an exclusive report published in SpotboyE, the couple has locked a date for their D-Day. The report further stated that their wedding will be an intimate affair with only close friends and family in attendance.

Interestingly, the church wedding rumors are not without reason. They hold a deep connection with Malaika's life. She is apparently quite fond of church weddings, courtesy her mother Joyce Polycarp, who's a Christian. In fact, she also married Arbaaz as per Christian rituals in 1998.

Furthermore, the SpotboyE report stated that the couple has finalized the guest list for their big day. According to the report, the guest list will have specific celebrities in attendance. This will include bride-to-be Malaika's close friends Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. On Arjun's side, his dear friend Ranveer Singh and wife Deepika Padukone will be among the baraatis on the big day.
Earlier, Malaika had dismissed reports of her Church wedding
Malaika had earlier rubbished the reports of having a Church wedding with Arjun and stated that these reports are created by media. "The media is responsible for all of this," Malaika said. The Chaiyya Chaiyya dancer also spoke about her relationship recently and stated, "I guess everybody wants to move on and find love, find companionship, you know people they can relate to".

If the media report turns out to be true, this will be Malaika's second wedding. She was earlier married to actor-director Arbaaz Khan for 19 years. However, they shocked everyone when they divorced in 2017. Recently, Malaika revealed the reason behind her divorce and stated that they were in an unhappy marriage. Arbaaz, who's dating Giorgia Andriani, also echoed Malaika's opinion on their divorce.
