When to watch Rajkummar Rao's 'Shahid' in theaters again?

Hansal Mehta's critically acclaimed film Shahid will have a special screening set for Wednesday, February 26, before a wider theatrical re-release in May.
The events are being hosted by the Versova Homage Society to celebrate the film's unique story.
Producer Sunil Bohra confirmed the news to ETimes, adding that he was excited about the upcoming re-release.

'Shahid' re-release: Bohra expressed gratitude toward Mehta
Bohra said, "We are indeed holding a special screening of the film organized by the Versova Homage Society. Hansal Mehta and I are planning a re-release of the film sometime in May. I am grateful to Hansal Mehta for allowing me to produce this film."

'A film like 'Shahid' happens very rarely'
Sharing insights on Shahid's impact, Bohra added, "A film like Shahid happens very rarely in any producer or filmmaker's life. I am and will always be thankful to Hansal Mehta for giving me this opportunity to produce this film."
"We are planning surely to re-release it in cinemas very soon."
The special screening will feature an engaging interactive session with the cast, moderated by filmmaker-writer Tigmanshu Dhulia.
Film's background
'Shahid': A tribute to lawyer and human rights activist
Directed by Mehta, Shahid is a biographical drama inspired by the life of lawyer and human rights activist Shahid Azmi, played by Rajkummar Rao. Azmi was assassinated in 2010.
Sameer Gautham Singh and Apurva Asrani were the ones who wrote the script.
On its release on October 18, 2013, the film was raved about with favorable reviews. It also opened a lot of doors for Rao in his Bollywood journey.
