When is 'The Lost City' hitting the theaters in India?
We finally will get to watch The Lost City. Starring Sandra Bullock, Daniel Radcliffe, Brad Pitt, and Channing Tatum, the American film is set to hit the cinema halls in India on April 8. For now, the action-adventure comedy movie faces no competition at the box office, as far as big-budget Bollywood ventures or those with pan-India appeal are concerned.
Why does this story matter?
The Lost City is Bullock's and Tatum's second release of 2022. When it comes to Pitt and Radcliffe, this is their first release this year. Separately, the film's promotional videos have mostly generated positive reviews from the viewers in India, who appreciated the humor quotient. Also, all the four actors are loved in India, so The Lost City won't lose much business.
What is the film all about?
In the Hollywood film, Bullock plays Loretta Sage, a best-selling author known for her romantic novels. In her novels, Alan (Tatum) features as a cover model and his name in Sage's books is Dash. One day, Sage gets kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Radcliffe) who believes the lost city mentioned in her book is real and wants her to get it for him.
