Diljit Dosanjh once bought private jet due to Instagram misunderstanding
Bollywood and Punjabi film industry actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh recently shared an amusing anecdote about how a misunderstanding on Instagram led him to buy a private jet. The incident occurred when Dosanjh was traveling to Rajasthan for a shoot on a private jet provided by the film producers and posted about it on his Instagram Story. The 37-year-old star narrated the incident to Film Companion, revealing how this simple Story upload led to major trouble.
'New beginning with a private jet,' Dosanjh had written
Dosanjh said he had written on his Instagram Story, "New beginning with a private jet," adding that he was not good at English and often asked people around him if his English was "crooked." Although his English was correct in this case, the caption led several media outlets to believe that he had bought a private jet. After he landed in Rajasthan, the buzz didn't stop for the next two days, following which he decided to buy the aircraft.
'Inni bezzati ho gayi, I have to buy'
Dosanjh then talked to the jet operator about its cost. "(The operator) told me that it's not a big deal to take the aircraft. You have to spend money just once and whenever you want it, they will send it," the Crew actor recalled. "So I was like, inna raula pae gaya, inni bezzati ho gayi I have to buy this in life."
Meanwhile, Dosanjh to star in 'Border 2' with Sunny Deol
On the work front, Dosanjh was last seen in Chamkila alongside Parineeti Chopra. His performance was well-received by audiences. He is now set to appear in Border 2, according to recent reports. The Punjabi superstar will reportedly share the screen with Sunny Deol and play the role of a real-life soldier. The film's makers have also reportedly approached Ayushmann Khurrana for a significant role.
