Anushka Sharma turned 31 yesterday, and as was reported, her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli had some exclusive plans up his sleeve. And boy! Did he bowl us all out. A small video shared by Virat showed the couple sitting on a pier by the side of a lake, backs to the camera, with Bob Marley's Is This Love playing in the backdrop. Picture that!
Virat had also planned a special dinner for Anushka
Virat, who is currently playing in the IPL for RCB, took time off from his professional commitments to spend the day with his wife. Earlier, it was reported that he had planned a special dinner. "He has locked the venue and a specially curated meal has been organized. It will be a vegan meal that includes Anushka's favorite dishes," a source had revealed.

However, it looks like not just dinner, Virat had planned to spend the entire day with Anushka. The video, shot by Supreeth, the 30-year-old cricketer's friend, shows the duo talking while sitting relaxed on the pier, and after a while Virat points at the sunset. Another picture from the same setting shows Anushka resting her head on Virat's shoulder, watching the sunset.

Since the time Virat and Anushka started dating in 2013, after falling in love while shooting for a shampoo ad, media had its eyes trained on them. When they got married in 2017, social media voraciously consumed all their wedding moments and whatever was posted after that. In fact, Virat's wish for Anushka on their first Karvachauth became the most-liked tweet in 2018.
Anushka currently producing a Netflix film, Amazon web-series next
On the work front, Anushka is producing a Netflix film titled Bulbul along with her brother, Karnesh. She is also slated to produce a web-series for Amazon. Some reports also suggest that she may venture into direction, and helm a movie produced by Clean Slate Films, her production house. No confirmation has been given by the Zero actress on that front.
RCB, led by Virat, have been knocked out of IPL
Meanwhile, Virat-led RCB stands last in the IPL table, and they have been knocked out. Their next match is against SunRisers Hyderabad, led by Kane Williamson, later this week. Many experts, including cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar, have suggested that Virat be rested for that match. Virat's next big assignment is the World Cup, which will be played in England and Wales May 30 onwards.
