'We've never asked each other to be what we aren't'
Talking about their 'oh-so-perfect' marriage, Ajay told DNA that one of the key elements for a happy marriage is to give each other the much-needed space. "The best part is that we have never asked each other to be what we aren't. You can only get along with people who are unobtrusive," he quipped.

Undoubtedly, Ajay shares an impeccable equation with his wife and it restores our faith in love. In his characteristic style, Ajay said that if a couple doesn't have a good equation it will be quite difficult for them to stay together. "We have a bond where we can tell each other whatever we want. Even at home, we are a chilled-out couple," he emphasized.

For starters, Ajay and Kajol met on the sets of their 1995 release Hulchul. While their first meeting didn't go well, the two became best of friends later. The couple started seeing each other after two years but soon took the plunge. "I didn't want to make a big issue out of my marriage. So, we got married on my terrace," Ajay stated.

Interestingly, even after 20 years of marriage, they are still on the same page for small and big issues. In fact, Kajol shared a cute boomerang video of themselves on Instagram and the caption revealed how the couple prefers keeping things real and relatable. In her post, Kajol drew similarities with fairy tales and wrote, "And they lived happily ever after in pyjamas."
