What police said about Malaika Arora's father's death
Anil Mehta, the stepfather of Bollywood actors Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora, was found dead at his residence in Mumbai on Wednesday morning. According to ANI, Mehta was found dead at his residence on the sixth floor of the Ayesha Manor building in Bandra. DCP Crime Branch, Raj Tilak Roshan, said, "Our teams are here, forensic teams are here as well...Body is being taken for post-mortem. We are investigating everything in detail... Prima facie it seems to be suicide."

Malaika, Arbaaz Khan, others reach Mehta's residence
After the news of Mehta's death broke, Malaika's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was among the first to reach the spot. Malaika, who was reportedly traveling, also arrived at her parents' residence in Bandra. Her sister Amrita and husband Shakeel Ladak were seen arriving, too. Salim Khan, Salma Khan, Sohail Khan, Nirvaan Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Seema Sajdeh, Bunty Sajdeh, and Riteish Sidhwani were seen at Mehta's house. Malaika and Arbaaz's son Arhaan was seen at the building as well.
Mehta's post-mortem to be conducted at Baba hospital
According to reports, Mehta's post-mortem will be conducted at the Baba Hospital. The second husband of Arora's mother, Joyce Polycarp was reportedly around 65 years old. Polycarp was previously married to Anil Arora. The family is expected to issue an official statement on the matter soon.
