Katrina gives special advice to sister Isabelle before her debut
Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle is all set to make her Bollywood debut this year with Time To Dance opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Since Katrina is more than a decade old in this industry, her experience will definitely help the debutante. So when she was asked about her advice to Isabelle before entering Bollywood, the Bharat actress said she told her to "hear your own voice."
It is not easy in film industry, says Katrina
During her recent interaction with Bombay Times, Katrina said that she told Isabelle that "it is not easy" in the industry. She also emphasized that one needs to "have nerves of steel to be in the film industry." "I always tell my sister that whether you are a director or an actor, you've to have nerves of steel," Katrina added.
"Create your path, don't look at anyone as an example"
Furthermore, Katrina advised Isabelle not to follow anyone's footsteps and create her own path in Bollywood. The Phantom actress asserted that one must listen to his/her heart and should not look at anyone as example. "Make sure that you do what you want. Don't look at anyone as an example or follow their path. You should try to hear your own voice," Katrina quipped.
Now, a bit about Isabelle's movie
Coming back to Time To Dance, the movie will be a dance drama, to be directed by Stanley D'Costa. The movie will have Isabelle and Sooraj performing different dance styles from around the world. Time To Dance will also feature two recreated versions of Salman Khan's hit number O O Jane Jana from his 1998 release Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya.
Salman, Katrina to shake a leg in 'Time To Dance'
Reportedly, while one version of the song will serve as Sooraj's introduction, the other will be a promotional track featuring Salman-Katrina. "It is a modern-day rendition of the original track, and will be shot on lavishly mounted sets. Salman and Katrina's presence is restricted to the promotional song, the two will not be a part of the film," a source told Mumbai Mirror.
