National Cinema Day: Watch 'Stree 2,' 'Tumbbad' at just ₹99
The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and cinemas across the country are set to celebrate National Cinema Day on Friday, September 20. The event, now in its third edition, offers movie buffs a chance to watch a range of films for just ₹99 per ticket. The previous two editions saw over six million admissions. This year, more than 4,000 screens are participating.

This year's National Cinema Day features an exciting lineup of films for every movie enthusiast. The day will showcase a mix of blockbusters, anticipated sequels, and timeless classics. These include Transformers One, Never Let Go, Yudhra, Stree 2, Tumbbad, Veer-Zaara, Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam, and The Buckingham Murders. Regional films such as Navra Maza Navsacha - 2, Sucha Soorma, and Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di are also part of the diverse offerings.
Participating cinemas for National Cinema Day
National Cinema Day 2024 will be celebrated across various renowned cinemas. These include PVR INOX, CINEPOLIS, MIRAJ, CITYPRIDE, ASIAN, MUKTA A2, MOVIE TIME, WAVE, MOVIEMAX, M2K, DELITE among others. Notably, the MAI is a national group of cinema operators that informs, educates, and advocates on behalf of the cinema exhibition sector. It was established in 2002 under the aegis of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) by leading cinema operators.
