Every youngster has, once in a while, thought about auditioning for Roadies, while watching it on television. It is certainly a stepping stone for people aspiring to be a part of the entertainment industry. Many ex-contestants now enjoy celebrity status because of Roadies, Rannvijay, Bani, Karan Kundra to name a few. So here's how you can unleash your inner Roadie-spirit and audition for it.
The auditions will take place in Delhi tomorrow
This is how auditions take place
Every year, lakhs of people gather outside the venue and throng as soon as the gates open. On entering, they have to report to the registration counter, where they are allotted a registration number which is essentially their identification number. This is step number 1. Post which, they are given a form to fill, which tests their personality.
Group discussion is followed by written test
Once the written test is cleared, contestants would be shortlisted for group discussions. At a time, 15 contestants are sent into a room and given a socially-relevant topic to debate upon. The whole act is monitored by some ex-contestants. Then the moderator asks them to sum-up in a line why they should become the next roadie.
Final round comprises of meeting with the judges
Post the group discussion round, the shortlisted candidates get to meet the judges, who at their end decide the fate of the candidates. The final round is the toughest and most nerve-wracking of all, as that's when one is grilled to an unbearable extent. If you endure the grilling by the judges, you start the journey of your lifetime.
