The winner of multiple Filmfare Awards, IIFA Awards, and Stardust Awards, Vivek Oberoi, is an actor predominantly working in the Hindi cinema. After completing his college degree from Mumbai, he went to London to attend an acting workshop, where he was spotted by a director who took him to New York University. In New York, he completed a master’s degree in film acting. In 2002, he debuted with the film ‘Company’ and received the Best Debut Male Award at Filmfare. In the following years, he appeared in ‘Saathiya’, ‘Masti’, ‘Yuva’ and ‘Omkara’, which was the movie adaptation of Shakespeare’s play ‘Othello’. He gained an industry-wide appreciation for his performance in the film. Oberoi turned into an action hero with the films ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ and ‘Mission Istanbul’. Even though he failed to gain appreciation in the industry and give blockbuster films, Oberoi appeared in multiple films, including ‘Kurbaan’, ‘Prince’ and ‘Bank Chor’. Oberoi also debuted in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. In 2019, he portrayed the role of Narendra Modi in the biographical film 'PM Narendra Modi'.
