The Indian cricket team captain said, "I've realized a lot of things in the past few years since I've been with her. She's a spiritual person and I've sort of drifted on that path as well." "Now things are unlocking in a way that is very difficult for me to explain. But I understand that I was always meant to do this," he added.

Virat revealed that although there were no paparazzi in the Lapland capital city of Rovaniemi near the Arctic Circle, they still bumped into some Indians there. But as they did not want media to know their whereabouts, the couple requested them to not talk about the meeting on social media.
