The Border-Gavaskar Trophy which is being played between India and Australia held its third match in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. After India's defeat on Friday, Indian batter Virat Kohli and his actor-wife Anushka Sharma visited Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Saturday morning. Videos of the celebrity couple show them performing puja inside the garbhagriha at the temple, which is one of the 14 Jyotirlingas.

Kohli and Sharma are one of the most loved celebrity couples. They've often been spotted visiting temples across India. In January, the two performed a puja at a temple in Rishikesh and also in Vrindavan. After India was defeated in the third match of the Test series, the couple headed to Ujjain on Saturday to visit the historic Mahakaleshwar temple sans their daughter, Vamika.

Several videos of the couple show them performing puja at the temple. The two were also seated outside the garbhagriha while the priests performed aarti, after which a special puja was performed by Kohli and Sharma. While Sharma wore a blush pink sari on the occasion, the former Indian skipper was seen in a dhoti. They both also applied chandan tika.

Virushka are known for their strong religious beliefs
Kohli and Sharma are widely known for holding strong religious beliefs. Earlier this year, they visited the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Vrindavan. They also paid a visit to Swami Dayananda Ji Maharaj's shrine at Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh. Their daughter, Vamika, also accompanied them on the visits. A video and images of the trio seeking blessings also surfaced on the internet.
Final Test match will be held in Ahmedabad
The tables turned for the Indian team after it lost its 2-0 lead to Australia in Indore. The pitch at the Holkar Cricket Stadium was highly criticized by experts as Australia defeated the home team by nine wickets. The fourth and final match will be held at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium which will be played from March 9.
