OTT: When, where to watch Vikrant Massey's 'Sector 36'
Vikrant Massey, who has recently been in the spotlight for his role in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, is all set to star in a new film titled Sector 36. The announcement was made on Monday and the movie's poster was unveiled. The movie, which also features Deepak Dobriyal of Tanu Weds Manu fame, is based on true events about the sudden disappearance of slum children. It will mark Aditya Nimbalkar's directorial debut.
'Sector 36' to premiere on Netflix
Sector 36 is slated for release on September 13, exclusively on Netflix. This follows the trend of Massey's recent films being premiered on OTT platforms. His last film, Blackout, was released on JioCinema but did not receive favorable reviews from critics. Despite the initial buzz, his much-anticipated film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba also failed to live up to audience expectations.
Know more about the film's storyline
Per IMDb, "Inspired by true events, several children go missing from a basti (slum) in Delhi's Sector 36. A 'layered' story about the 'human psyche'
Producer Dinesh Vijan said, "We are excited to work with Netflix again and on a story like Sector 36 that is an intensely sensory film. For us, it's a story that we felt was crucial to be told. The film is layered, delving deeply into the human psyche, exploring the hunter and the hunted, the haves and the have-nots." "Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal deliver outstanding performances, and we couldn't be prouder of their work."
