Vikrant Massey, Sheetal Thakur are married: Check pictures here
Actor Vikrant Massey and long-time partner, actor Sheetal Thakur, got married in an intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh on Friday (February 18). Although the pair is yet to share official pictures, various images from their traditional wedding have surfaced on the internet. Earlier, the duo was reported to have had a court marriage on Valentine's Day. Congratulations to the couple!
Duo tied knot with friends and family members in attendance
According to the images posted on social media, the Haseen Dillruba actor was seen donning a white sherwani and turban, while the Brij Mohan Amar Rahe star went with the quintessential red bridal attire. The couple was seen sitting next to each other in front of a havan and exchanging vows. Massey was also seen with his relatives and other attendees in the images.
Viral: They danced to their hearts' content during pre-wedding ceremony
A day before the nuptials, a happening haldi and/or mehendi ceremony was reportedly organized for the couple. Some adorable clips from the event had gone viral online, where the equally haldi-clad bride and groom were seen dancing to Bollywood hit songs like Desi Girl. Before this, on February 14, Massey-Thakur had reportedly wrapped up their registered marriage at their Versova home.
Here is how Massey and Thakur met
Coming to their love story, Massey and Thakur met in 2018 on the sets of ALTBalaji's series Broken But Beautiful. They reportedly began dating soon after and got engaged in a private ceremony in November 2019. Apparently, they were planning to get hitched in 2020 but the pandemic hampered plans. Now that the deed is done, we're waiting for them to drop official pictures.
Today, another celebrity couple is set to be wed
Notably, Massey and Thakur's wedding marks the second wedding in the industry this year. Before them, actor Mouni Roy married investment banker-businessman Suraj Nambiar in Goa on January 27. Moreover, on Saturday, another celebrity couple is set to get hitched—actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and anchor-singer-actor Shibani Dandekar. This long-time couple will exchange vows at Akhtar's father-lyricist Javed Akhtar and his wife-actor Shabana Azmi's Khandala farmhouse.
