Vikrant Massey has reportedly started shooting for acclaimed director Rajkumar Hirani's maiden OTT series in Goa.
The untitled show, tentatively titled Trojan, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. This cybercrime drama will have elements of comedy and friendship.
An industry insider confirmed that shooting is already underway in the coastal state, although no further details about the schedule have been disclosed.

Massey's character and show's theme revealed
Per reports, the series's plot follows two police officers, one played by Arshad Warsi as a traditional cop and the other by Massey as a tech-savvy modern officer.
In true Hirani fashion, the story will also delve into the theme of friendship. The official plot synopsis is being kept under wraps.
This role further adds to Massey's already impressive portfolio, which includes critically acclaimed performances in 12th Fail, Sector 36, and The Sabarmati Report.

Hirani's enthusiasm for OTT storytelling and series development
Speaking to News18, Hirani said he was excited to explore the OTT space. He noted that some stories need a longer format than films can offer.
"We discovered the one we are currently working on during the pandemic," he said.
The director also said he is deeply involved in the project as its showrunner and is happy with the script's development.
A few reports suggested that Hirani's son Vir will mark his debut through the project.
