Famous for his Amazon Prime Video web series ‘Mirzapur’, Vikrant Massey is an actor in Hindi cinema and Indian television. He started taking training in modern jazz and contemporary dance forms after joining the Shiamak Davar’s academy and became a choreographer on his show ‘Dhoom Machaao Dhoom’. In 2009, he got a role in the daily soap ‘Balika Vadhu’, which got him roles in many television shows such as ‘Qubool Hai’ over the years. The release of ‘Lootera’ marked his debut in the Bollywood industry in 2013. However, the role that brought him recognition was in ‘A Death in the Gunj’ (2017) which got him a nomination in Filmfare Award for the Best Actor - Critics. ‘Half Girlfriend’ (2017) and 'Chhapaak’ (2020) became two of his best-known movies. His role in ‘Mirzapur’, ‘Broken But Beautiful’, and ‘Criminal Justice’ gave him a massive breakthrough in the industry. In 2021, Massey was cast in Netflix’s ‘Haseen Dillruba’ alongside Tapsee Pannu, which was a hit amongst the audience.
