Diddy accused of drugging, assaulting women at Trump Hotel
What's the story
Amid growing complaints, two more women have filed civil lawsuits against the jailed music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, accusing him of assaulting them at the Trump Hotel in New York City.
The suits were filed with the New York Supreme Court on Tuesday (February 4).
The alleged incidents reportedly began at the Limelight nightclub and continued at the Trump Hotel.
Diddy is currently awaiting trial on federal charges related to sex crimes.
Assault allegations
Plaintiffs detail alleged assaults in the 1990s
One plaintiff claims Combs assaulted her several times at a multi-floor party he hosted at Manhattan's Limelight nightclub in the 1990s.
She alleges that after trying to leave, she and her friends were taken to the Trump Hotel penthouse, where they were drugged and forced into group sex activities "during which she was sexually assaulted over the next several hours."
The second lawsuit details a similar incident at Limelight.
Coercion claims
Plaintiffs allege coercion and fear in lawsuits
They claim Combs made it clear they couldn't leave until several hours later when he let them go.
The second plaintiff alleges she feared for her life during an encounter with Combs's security guard.
"At the penthouse, Plaintiff was put in a room with the security guard, who assaulted her physically and sexually while Combs watched. Plaintiff and her friend then were forced to take what she believes to have been ecstasy or a similar 'party' drug," the filing read.
Legal response
Combs's legal team responds to allegations
In light of the allegations, Combs's legal team has released a statement.
They said they have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process.
The team added, "Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor."
