Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava' is already his third-biggest hit
What's the story
Vicky Kaushal's latest film, Chhaava, has become the top Bollywood blockbuster of 2025 in no time. The historical drama has raked in a staggering ₹116.5 crore at the box office in just three days since its release.
The film is now set to beat the lifetime collection of Kaushal's previous hit Raazi by Monday.
Box office triumph
'Chhaava' outperforms previous hits, solidifies Kaushal's star power
Chhaava has already beaten all of Kaushal's films except Raazi (₹123.74 crore) and Uri: The Surgical Strike (₹244.14 crore).
Boasting strong pre-sale tickets and sustained momentum, it should cross Raazi's total collection by Monday. This would make Chhaava Kaushal's second-biggest hit to date.
The film has also beaten Sky Force, erstwhile 2025's biggest Bollywood hit with a total collection of ₹112 crore.
Unchallenged success
'Chhaava' set for uninterrupted box office run
With no major film releases in the next two weeks, Chhaava will enjoy a continuous streak at the box office.
This clear schedule could even allow it to surpass even Uri's collection, making it Kaushal's biggest hit yet.
The film has received acclaim for its impressive scale, intense performances, and patriotic appeal.
Production triumph
'Chhaava' marks another success for Dinesh Vijan's production house
Chhaava signifies the second major success for producer Dinesh Vijan after Sky Force.
His production house is also gearing up for the release of Thama, a horror movie featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, which will premiere on Diwali.
Initially scheduled as a solo release, Thama will now be up against Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela's untitled film directed by Anurag Basu.
