Here's how Vicky Kaushal reacted to rumors about dating Katrina
Since months now, fans and the paparazzi have been curiously following actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, to make something of their rumored relationship. But apparently, we will have to wait longer, as the actors don't seem ready to share any details. In a recent interaction, Vicky played coy, neither admitting nor denying the rumors. Here is more on what he said.
Dating is a beautiful feeling, Vicky said
In a recent conversation with Mid-Day, Vicky made a cryptic statement, asserting, "There are no cons to dating. It's a beautiful feeling." However, that was the closest that the actor came to talk about dating. When told that he has been spotted with Katrina several times, he said, "I understand that the paps are doing their job."
'Not comfortable opening up my personal life for discussion'
"I also understand that people have an interest in our personal lives, by virtue of us being public figures. That's fair," Vicky added. However, the 31-year-old made it clear that he is "not comfortable" opening up about his personal life. He said, "But it's completely up to me if I wish to share...It's important to me that I guard the good things."
There's no story at all, Vicky had earlier said
Earlier this month, Vicky had addressed the dating rumors, saying, "I don't feel there is any scope of clarification. I have been very open about my personal life because I cannot lie...There's no story at all." Meanwhile, Katrina hasn't reacted the rumors yet.
Vicky, Katrina have been spotted together several times
Talks about Vicky and Katrina's alleged relationship sparked up after the two were spotted together at a Diwali party last year. In another instance, the actors were seen together at director Ali Abbas Zafar's birthday bash in January. Most recently, Katrina made an appearance at a special screening of Vicky's latest movie Bhoot: The Haunted Ship, which further fueled up the rumors.
On the work front for Vicky and Katrina
Meanwhile, Vicky's latest movie Bhoot: The Haunted Ship turned out to be a complete dud, as expected. It has garnered poor reviews and collected just around Rs. 19 crore by end of day four. He will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar's Sardar Udham Singh, releasing on October 2. Separately, Katrina will be seen in Akshay Kumar's cop movie Sooryavanshi, releasing on March 24.
