Varun Dhawan unveils his wax statue at Madame Tussauds
What's the story
Actor Varun Dhawan, who is busy prepping for his next film 'Sui Dhaaga', became the second actor after Amitabh Bachchan to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong.
The actor, along with his parents, flew to Hong Kong to unveil his statue. He also interacted with the fans present there.
Here are the details.
Details
The statue bears a striking resemblance to Varun
Unlike some of the horrible statue fails, Varun's statue has gone surprisingly right.
The statue has Varun flaunting his abs; it also dons the real jacket that Varun wore during the dance sequel 'Saturday Saturday' from 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.
Notably, around 200 measurements were taken by the team to create the statue.

Honor
Here's what Varun said on getting this honor
Expressing his joy on occupying a space at Madame Tussauds, Varun said, "This is a dream come true. The first time I visited Madame Tussauds in England with my parents and brother I posed with the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Today I am very emotional as I see my own statue here."
It is indeed a proud moment for the actor.
