Bollywood's hit-machine Varun Dhawan celebrates 31st birthday on 'Kalank' sets
Varun Dhawan is living the dream. He has a cent percent success rate, enjoys a massive fan following and his current line up of films seems gold. Also, his latest release, Shoojit Sircar's 'October', fetched him the best reviews of his career, so far. The young superstar has ample reasons to have a grand celebration as he turns 31 today.
A working birthday for Varun
In an interview with a leading publication, Varun revealed that he started off his day by filming an important scene with his 'Kalank' co-star Alia Bhatt. "I feel my birthdays are more special for other people. Today, I woke up early to shoot a big scene with Alia. I was prepping for it in the run-up to my birthday," he said.
Reminiscing his birthday memories
"I remember when I was a kid, my school friends used to come over and we'd play cricket in our building compound. Today, if I get time, I will play cricket here (Kalank sets) as well," said Varun.
Varun is still sinking in the 'October' love
It has been over a week since 'October' hit the screens and Varun is yet to sink in all the love showered upon him. He said, "I still receive messages from people. This is a first for me. I'm elated with the love and respect as we tried to do something different."

Is marriage on cards for Varun?
Varun is said to be dating Natasha Dalal and there are rumors regarding their marriage. However, Varun is not looking to settle down as of now. "I honestly believe that one should get married only when one feels like going for it. I don't think you can pick any particular age. At the moment, there is no plan as such," he said.
