'Stree 2': How much Varun Dhawan charged for his cameo
Actor Varun Dhawan, who recently made a cameo appearance in the horror-comedy film Stree 2, reportedly did not charge any fee for his role, reported Pinkvilla. The 37-year-old actor reprised his character from the movie Bhediya in the sequel to the 2018 hit Stree. A source told Pinkvilla that Dhawan and Vijan are planning to start work on Bhediya 2 soon, given the positive response to the actor's cameo in Stree 2. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, apart from Dhawan, Akshay Kumar also made a special appearance in Stree 2, while the primary cast includes Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi.
Will characters from 'Stree,' 'Bhediya,' and 'Munjya' unite?
Speaking at Pinkvilla Masterclass, Rao earlier discussed the possibility of the characters from Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya coming together in one film. "It's too early to say to be honest. But sure, that's the reason this universe is building; that eventually, we can have that one big film where we will have a villain like Thanos," he said. Stree 3 is in the works, while Munjya's sequel is yet to be announced.
