Varun Dhawan compromised 50 percent of his fees for 'October'
Varun Dhawan is arguably the biggest star among the younger crop of actors. With all his nine films making good moolah at the box office, the 30-year-old has not given a single flop in his career so far. And after the massive success of 'Judwaa 2', Varun will be seen in Shoojit Sircar's 'October' for which he has reportedly slashed his price by 50%.
Here's what a media report stated
"When Shoojit approached him with the script, he made it clear that it would be another small-budget film. Varun was quite taken by the story and knew that he had to be a part of the project and readily agreed to cut down his fee," it stated.
His current market price
Varun's last two releases, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and 'Judwaa 2', went past the Rs. 100 crore mark at the box comfortably, cementing his position as a bankable star. Post that, he had apparently raised his price to a whopping Rs. 25 crore. However, he did not want to burden 'October', which marks the debut of Banita Sandhu, with his fees.
