What's the story

Bollywood heart-throb Varun Dhawan's upcoming film, Street Dancer 3D has been pushed for a 2020 release. And the reason behind the delay might be none other than his impending wedding with childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal. Sources suggest that now, the said film would release in January end, when it may clash with Kangana Ranaut's Panga at the box-office. Here's more on this.

Details

Reportedly, Varun has requested delay due to wedding plans

Earlier, it was being speculated that the delay was to get a more favorable release window. "It (Republic Day weekend) has turned out to be a good time for movies at the box-office," said a source, previously. However, it seems Varun has requested a change in the film's release date since he is planning to get married in December, this year.

Wedding

The couple might have a three-day ceremony in Jodhpur

Quite like the dreamy wedding affair of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Varun and Natasha might tie the knot in the Blue city, Jodhpur, in a grand three-day ceremony, according to Hindu rituals. Reports indicate that the couple has hired the same wedding planners as Priyanka-Nick had, and that the families have already gotten themselves busy with venue hunting and bookings.

Relationship

Varun and Natasha have known each other since school

The two love birds have known each other since their school days. And lately, their wedding has become a hot topic in B-town. The duo often get papped, but have managed to be quite secretive about their relationship. Talking about Natasha, Varun once said, "She's the stabilizing factor in my life. It's pretty much like a family." We wish the couple a happy companionship.

Work

After 'Kalank', Varun will next star in 'Street Dancer 3D'

Varun's last silver screen outing was Kalank (2019), which bombed at the box-office, as it couldn't even recover its ambitious budget of Rs. 150 crore. It marked the first commercial flop in the 32-year-old actor's career after 11 back-to-back hits. His next film, as mentioned before, will be the Remo D'Souza directorial dance drama, Street Dancer 3D, also starring Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor.
