What's the story
Dharma Productions's Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has locked a new release date.
The film, which stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, will now premiere on September 12, 2025.
It was previously scheduled to release in April.
Shashank Khaitan, who has previously directed Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Dhadak, among other films, has helmed the upcoming project.

Per reports, the film will explore a culturally rich love story with a modern twist.
The movie also features Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul in pivotal roles.
Dhawan and Kapoor, who previously collaborated on Bawaal, are expected to give yet another memorable performance.
The film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Khaitan, under the banner of Dharma Productions.

The filmmakers reportedly decided to postpone the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari to amp up its entertainment quotient.
They intend to make it even more engaging by filming additional scenes, including destination wedding sequences, and possibly two new songs.
The film revolves around the characters Sunny, played by Dhawan, and Tulsi Kumari, essayed by Kapoor—two people with contrasting personalities brought together by destiny.
