The picture was retweeted by Mumbai police with a stern warning. Here's what happened.
Here's what Mumbai Police tweeted
Mumbai Police not impressed with Varun's hero instincts
The Mumbai Police clearly seemed displeased with Varun's star-instincts on the roads. They not only accused him of risking his life by sticking his head out but also for risking other people's lives. "We expect better from a responsible Mumbaikar & youth icon like you! An E-Challan is on the way to your home. Next time, we will be harsher," they tweeted.
Varun acknowledges his mistake
At the time of writing this story, their tweet has been retweeted over 900 times and has received 123 comments in just 20 minutes. While some followers support police's decision, some question them for fining Varun for such a trivial matter. However, Varun has apologized for his mistake and acknowledged that he would keep safety in mind. Bravo, Mumbai police. A job well done!
