Varun-David's rom-com heads to UK for extensive schedule: Report
What's the story
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has teamed up with his father, legendary filmmaker David Dhawan, for the fourth time in an upcoming romantic-comedy movie.
The untitled project's next schedule will be filmed across several locations in the United Kingdom from May to June, reported Mid-Day.
This comes just days after Varun's grueling 45-day schedule for Border 2, another big project he is currently working on.
Production details
Dhawan's film to feature iconic UK locations and dance number
The upcoming film, produced by Ramesh Taurani's Tips Entertainment, will also star Kannada actor Sreeleela. Mrunal Thakur and Maniesh Paul are also a part of the project.
A source revealed the production team has locked several iconic UK locations, including popular spots like Piccadilly Circus in London.
"There is an elaborate dance number planned which will be one of the highlights of the film," added the source.
Per previous reports, some portions of the movie have already been shot.
Filming approach
Film to blend international aesthetic with Dhawan's signature style
The UK shoot will also have a week-long schedule in the countryside to film key romantic scenes and a chase sequence.
The source added, "David Dhawan is keen on bringing a fresh, international aesthetic to the film while maintaining his signature humor and energy."
Varun, who has been juggling multiple projects, is expected to fly to London by mid-May after wrapping Border 2 and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
