Varun has a serious advice for Alia on pay disparity
Pay disparity has been a big concern for the actresses in B-town and it has been prevailing in the industry for a long time now. Several celebrities have expressed their opinions on the issue, the recent one is Varun Dhawan, who not just spoke about pay disparity but also came up with some serious advice for his co-star Alia Bhatt. Expressing his views, Varun asked why industry and trade analysts took this long to realize Alia was a big star. He was hinting at trade experts' reactions after 'Raazi'. "Be it 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and even '2 States' were all hits and Alia Bhatt was just as responsible for its success as I was or Arjun was," he said.
Varun feels Alia deserve more fees. Yes, she does!
Varun suggested Alia that it's high time for her to hike her fees as she deserves it. He even called her stupid for not doing it for so long. "I would always tell Alia, what are you doing? You take very little money. Are you stupid? Increase your price," Varun added. Well, Varun's statement has indeed won hearts. Kudos to him!
Meanwhile, Varun-Alia to be back with 'Kalank'
Well, not just their off-screen chemistry, but their on-screen pairing also sets the screen on fire. The two will soon be back with their fourth collaboration, 'Kalank'. "Kalank is very special to me. Hopefully, we will re-create our on-screen magic once again," he said.
