The film, directed by Navjot Gulati (writer of Jai Mummy Di), will feature Kapoor as the central character. Her Bollywood journey began with Shuddh Desi Romance, where she starred alongside the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. She was last seen in Shamshera alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
